“With R2-D2’s right leg completed, it’s time to start assembling the one on the other side. You first parts are the left shoulder plate and details, which are a mirror image of the ones on the right.”
I took the photos for this issue (and the next four issues) with my new Canon 90D DSLR. However, after a long micro focus adjustment session, I neglected to turn RAW format back on. So, I apologize if these images seem to be of less quality than usual!

Adding Details to R2-D2’s Left Shoulder
Steps 1-2
The Lubrication Fittings have lugs that fit into the keyhole recesses in the Left Shoulder Plate:

Secure the fitting in place with one (1) 2×6 mm silver screw:
Step 4
Secure the second Lubrication Fitting in the same way with one (1) 2×6 mm silver screw:
Step 5
Plug the Stabiliser into the other two holes, ensuring it is the correct way up:

Secure the Stabiliser into place with two (2) 2×6 mm silver screws:
Thoughts
It feels like we have done this before! Keep this assembly safe until we need it again in Issue 38.
