“Continue building R2-D2’s left leg, which mirrors the right. You have also received a sprue holding 10 plastic plugs to cover the screw holes that are visible on the completed right leg.”
I took the photos for this issue (and the next two issues) with my new Canon 90D DSLR. However, after a long micro focus adjustment session, I neglected to turn RAW format back on. So, I apologize if these images seem to be of less quality than usual!

Concealing Holes in the Right Leg
Steps 1-2

Steps 3-4
Retrieve the right leg we completed in Issue 34 and push the ten (10) Plugs into the holes above the ankle:
There is a small issue here. The two holes where the leg narrows do not have fully circular openings:
To make the plugs fit easier, I snipped a small side off these last two Plugs:
Thoughts
Press two parts together and insert ten plugs. That went quick! Put this Right Leg assembly somewhere safe as it won’t be used again until we install it to the framework in Issue 91. The left leg parts will be used in the next issue.
