Fitting the Dome Panel

Step 1

Take the Dome Panel supplied and use the two strips of tape to stick it into this hole in the dome:

Since we have already installed a few of these panels already, there is no need to break down the steps each time. This is the final result:

Fitting the Left Foot Base

Steps 1-3

Retrieve the leg assembly from the previous issue, align the Foot Base over the wheel and sensor, and press into place.

TIP: Before closing up the Foot, you may want to test for proper Motor operation once again – See Step 1 of Issue 34 for details:

Secure the Foot Base into place with six (6) 2.3×6 mm black screws.

TIP: After closing up the Foot, you may want to test for proper Infrared Sensor operation once again – See Step 6 of Issue 53 for details:

  1. Might I suggest a pointer back to issue 34 to test the motor. Also, after the base is installed testing the sensors as covered in issue 53 might also be a good suggestion. Found my base IR sensor was faulty.
